Common Issues

Login problems

  • Confirm you are using the correct email account
  • Use password reset if you cannot sign in
  • Check if your app version is up to date

Camera upload fails

  • Check internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
  • Confirm camera and photo permissions are enabled
  • Retry with a clear, well-lit image

Notifications not arriving

  • Verify notifications are enabled in app settings and system settings
  • Disable battery optimization restrictions for SumCal
  • Confirm quiet hours settings are not blocking reminders

Meal history or stats not syncing

  • Pull to refresh after reconnecting to the internet
  • Sign out and sign back in to refresh account state
  • Allow a short delay during peak traffic periods

Account & Billing

Manage your subscription on the platform where you subscribed:

  • iOS: App Store → Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play → Subscriptions
  • Web: SumCal account settings → Manage Subscription

Refund requests are handled by the original billing platform:

  • Apple purchases: request via Apple Support
  • Google Play purchases: request via Google Play support
  • Web/Stripe purchases: contact support@sumcal.com

Response Expectations

We typically respond within 1 business day during support hours (Monday to Friday). For urgent issues like account lockout or payment failure, include Urgent in your subject line so we can prioritize review.
